Early Lives continues to support research on the neonatal unit at UCLH in partnership with academics at University College London.
We do this in several ways. We fund pilot studies, which allow our research teams to collect the data they need to make applications to large funding bodies. We are also able to help with the purchase of small items and software to facilitate research on the neonatal unit.
We particularly aim to provide funding to junior doctors and nurses to undertake research projects. This helps them take their first steps into research under the guidance our senior researchers. We hope this opportunity will inspire the neonatal researchers of the future.
