When a baby is on a neonatal unit, it can be immensely challenging for the whole family.
There are often emotional, logistical and financial pressures as families cope with the uncertainty of having a sick or premature baby and miss work or travel long distances to be with them.
We are always looking for ways to make things a bit easier for our families and are currently exploring projects like providing needs-based hardship vouchers, subsidised accommodation and overnight emergency packs with little essentials to make unexpected stays more comfortable.
